2011-03-10 ---------- - Added several Cyrillic letters to the encodings: 1) The letter "Cyrillic letter reversed ZE" was added to the slot for "Cyrillic letter epsilon". They are actually the same. Thanks to Vladimir Volovich for confirming this and for other useful comments about Cyrillic encodings. 2) Somewhat dirty is adding letters "Cyrillic letter short I with tail" and "Cyrillic letter short EM with tail" to the slots for the same letters but with "descender". They are similar but used by other languages. 2011-02-28 ---------- - Added several Cyrillic letters that were missing in the encoding files but present in the fonts (some Cyrillic letters are not in Unicode or Adobe Glyph List). - The encoding files have more descriptive names now. 2011-02-15 ---------- - In the TeX Font Metric files changed the width of some accented letters (the width is now exactly the same as that of the respective unaccented letter). It was done just for the encoding IL2 and not for T1. Here is the list of changes: PT Serif Bold: Lcaron, tcaron PT Serif Bold Italic: Lcaron The letter tcaron in PT Serif Bold was narrower than t! This change is interesting just for Czech/Slovak users. 2011-02-10 ---------- - In the fonts/enc/ and fonts/map directories omitted the "paratype" level (suggested by Karl Berry). - Changed style files in this way: 1) Added an option to scale the fonts. In the font definition files was support for it but not in the style files. It was caused by creating simpler style files than those created by autoinst from fontools (they were created because the original files required the package fontenc with all supported encodings -- which might be a problem). 2) Style files do not change neither \familydefault nor \bfdefault. There are font substitutions in the font definition files now. Both suggested by Ricard Torres. Used his patches (based on Walter Schmidt's macros) for PTSerif.sty and T1PTSerif-TLF.fd. The changes extended to all other files. 2011-02-02 ---------- - First public version
