The package (which requires e-TeX) provides a natural way to define commands with optional keys.
The package provides \newkeycommand,
\renewkeycommand, \providekeycommand,
\newkeyenvironment and \renewkeyenvironment,
together with \keycmd for a more advanced interface.
The package is based on kvsetkeys by Heiko Oberdiek.
