Package lookbibtex:

Tools for examining BibTeX files.

The bundle provides two Perl scripts:

lookbibtex, which searches a BibTeX database for a Perl regular expression, optionally with a restriction on which field to examine; and
bibdestringify, which performs all string substitutions (i.e., things of the form @string{foo = "bar"}) in a BibTeX file.

Getting it

This package is not available from either major free distribution, MiKTeX or TeX Live.
