Please make sure you have the directories
 language/
 pictures/
and the regarding files in it (*.def or *.eps,*.jpg,*png, respectively)
in the _same_ directory as the style files.
(probably something like $TEXMF/texmf/tex/latex/chemmacros/)

The chemmacros bundle consists of the files
 - chemmacros.sty,
 - chemformula.sty,
 - ghsystem.sty,
 - chemmacros-version1.cfg,
 - chemmacros_en.tex, chemmacros_en.pdf,
 - chemmacros_de.tex, chemmacros_de.pdf,
 - README,
 - eps-, png- and jpg-files for the GHS pictograms (3x31 pictures),
 - language-definition files:
     ghsystem_german.def,
     ghsystem_english.def,
     ghsystem_italian.def
     ghsystem_langtemplate.def
