Contents of the README file

This directory contains the e-TeX V2.1 files.


V2.1 fixes a bug in mark(s) handling that occured on V2.0
for implementations with null=min_halfword different from 0.

	Generic source files (including eTRIP test and instructions
	how to build e-TeX).

web2c-7.2-etex-2.1.tar.gz
	Source files for Web2c V7.2

etex_lib.zip
etexlib-2.1.tar.gz
	TDS subtrees <texmf>/etex
	             <texmf>/fonts/source/public/etex
	         and <texmf>/fonts/tfm/public/etex
	containing e-TeX specific run-time support files.
	These files now equally work for e-TeX Versions 2.0 and 2.1

etex_doc.zip
etexdoc-2.0.tar.gz
	TDS subtree <texmf>/doc/etex
	containing e-TeX specific documentation


dostp/etriptex.log
	Results from the eTRIP test for the Dos-TP (PubliC e-TeX)
	implementation (demonstrating the acceptable differences).

	All text files in the .zip archives are in Unix format (with
	`newline' as line end indicator). Files should be extracted
	from these archives with "unzip -a".
